The Founder of Insurance With Purpose Agency nationwide
Derek Pierce, founder of Insurance With Purpose Agency, Inc., has been working in the insurance industry since 2003. He first started in the industry as a personal lines insurance agent, answering phones and doing data entry. After a year in this role, Derek was promoted to commercial lines, where he continued to work with businesses in a variety of industries.
During the early stages of his career, Derek spent two years working on Certificates of Insurance, learning about the significance of insured’s contractual obligations and how they affect insurance coverage. After over a decade of experience in retail insurance agencies, Derek decided to switch to the wholesale brokerage side of the business. He worked on an Excess & Surplus Lines Wholesale Brokerage Team, helping retail agents secure coverage for large premium clients in industries such as Energy, Environmental, Construction, and Manufacturing.
In 2017, Derek took on the role of lead producer for his own Wholesale Excess & Surplus Lines Commercial book of business. In 2021, he founded Insurance With Purpose Agency, Inc., a 100% independent insurance agency based in Navasota, Texas. Derek and his team of experienced insurance agents are dedicated to providing personalized service and expert guidance to businesses in a variety of commercial industries, including Energy, Environmental, Construction, and Manufacturing. They focus in understanding the unique risks and challenges of these industries and providing customized insurance solutions that meet their clients’ needs and budget. Derek and his team value their relationships with clients and insurance carriers, and strive to build trust and provide ongoing support to ensure their clients have the protection they need to succeed.
